Applicants must fill out the application completely before clicking on the "Submit" button at the end of the form. The system will not save incomplete applications. For questions that require more lengthy responses, applicants may draft their responses in a separate application, such as Microsoft Word, and then paste the text into the application form.
As part of the application process, applicants must upload three documents in PDF format:
1. a detailed, but brief research proposal of no more than 1,000 words.
2. a curriculum vitae documenting qualifications to conduct the proposed research, for example, through recent publications and presentations.
3. a sample of published work of no more than 10,000 words.
The deadline for submissions is Sunday, November 15, 2020 at midnight (Eastern).
Reference letters are due by Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The application system will contact references directly for their letters.
Applicants with questions should contact the Fellowships Program Manager by e-mail.
You will have the chance to upload a full project proposal at the end of the application.
